It works by increasing calcium sensitivity in heart muscle cells and inhibiting phosphodiesterase III, which helps manage mild to severe CHF due to atrioventricular valvular insufficiency or dilated cardiomyopathy.

• - Management of dilated cardiomyopathy in dogs
